All our parties are designed to be fun and memorable; however, our primary focus is ensuring the safety and satisfaction of both our clients and staff. To ensure that your event runs smoothly, we ask that you carefully review our Terms and Conditions. These terms represent a binding agreement between Powered Up Parties and the client.
By paying the required booking fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the Terms and Conditions outlined. This agreement ensures that both parties are aligned in their expectations and responsibilities.

Payment Breakdown
1. Contract
1.1. Agreement: This contract must be agreed to within 24 hours of receipt to secure the event date. Failure to confirm the contract within this timeframe will result in the event date being released to other interested clients. Powered Up Parties operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Payment Methods
2.1. Accepted Payment Methods: For the booking fee, we accept payments via PayPal and bank transfer. Cash payments may only be accepted at the end of the event if previously authorized and agreed upon by Powered Up Parties.
3. Booking Fee
3.1. Purpose: The non-refundable booking fee acts as a deposit to cover administrative costs for reserving a specific time and date.
3.2. Payment Deadline: The booking fee must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the booking information. If the booking fee is not received within this period, the time slot will be offered to the next interested client, unless alternative arrangements have been discussed with Powered Up Parties.

4.1. Payment of Balance: The client agrees to pay the remaining balance either in cash, via PayPal, or by bank transfer, no later than 24 hours before the party or event.

7. Performer Safety
7.1. Safe Environment: The client agrees to provide a safe and secure environment for the performer. This includes a clean, well-lit performance area free from any hazards that could cause injury.
7.2. Supervision: Adequate adult supervision must be provided by the client at all times during the performance. This includes managing the behavior of the children and ensuring that no inappropriate behavior occurs.
7.3. Zero Tolerance Policy: Powered Up Parties maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behavior. This includes any form of harassment, hostility, or unsafe conditions that may affect our performers.
7.4. Addressing Issues: If at any time a performer feels unsafe, harassed, or is subjected to inappropriate comments or behavior, they will address the issue directly with the parent/guardian or event host.
8. Right to Leave
8.1. Feeling Threatened: If the performer feels threatened, unsafe, or uncomfortable at any point during the event, they have the absolute right to leave immediately. The safety and well-being of our performers are our top priority.
8.2. Non-Refundable: If the performer decides to leave due to feeling threatened or unsafe, the client will not be entitled to any refund. This policy is in place to ensure that our performers are not put at risk under any circumstances.
9. Damage
9.1. Client Responsibility for Damage: We understand that accidents can occur, but the client may be held responsible for excessive damage sustained to the costumes and property of Powered Up Parties during the event. This includes any intentional or unintentional harm caused to our costumes, props, or other materials.
9.2. Cost of Replacement/Repair: In the event of damage or breakage, the cost to repair or replace damaged or broken costumes, props, or materials will be billed directly to the client. We will provide an itemized invoice detailing the costs incurred, and prompt payment will be required to cover these expenses.
10. Allergies and Safety
10.1. Client Responsibility: If you have booked a face painter or glitter tattooist as part of your package, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that no child at the event has any allergies or sensitivities to the products used. Powered Up Parties will make reasonable efforts to use safe and high-quality products; however, we cannot guarantee that no allergic reactions will occur. The client understands and agrees that Powered Up Parties is not liable for any injuries or allergic reactions that may happen during the event.
10.2. Age Restrictions for Glitter Tattoos: For health and safety reasons, Powered Up Parties is unable to provide glitter tattoos to children under the age of 3, even with parental or guardian consent. This policy is in place to ensure the well-being of young children and to comply with safety regulations.
Please ensure that all relevant information regarding allergies and age restrictions is communicated to us prior to the event to help us deliver a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
11. Bouncy Castles and Inflatables
11.1. Booking Restrictions: For our 1-hour and 2-hour party packages, please DO NOT book or have any bouncy castles or inflatables present. Our team at Powered Up Parties finds that these inflatables can be a significant distraction for the children, which may interfere with the entertainment experience we strive to provide.
11.2. Right to Refuse Service: Powered Up Parties reserves the right to refuse performance services if the client has not discussed or informed us about the presence of bouncy castles or inflatables before the event. This policy helps us ensure that we deliver the highest quality of entertainment without interruptions or safety concerns.
11.3. 30-Minute Packages: If you have booked a 30-minute party package, please be mindful of having a bouncy castle present. While we appreciate the fun that inflatables can add, some of our characters may be unable to access bouncy castles due to the constraints of their costumes. This limitation could impact the level of interaction and engagement during the performance.
We encourage you to discuss any plans to include bouncy castles or inflatables with us beforehand to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
12.1. Client Responsibility for Time Management: When booking a 30-minute package, it is the client’s responsibility to inform the performer when the 30-minute time frame has ended. Due to the nature of our costumes and character integrity, performers will not carry watches or phones to check the time.
12.2. Visible Clocks: To facilitate accurate timekeeping, we advise that clients either inform the performer when the allotted time is up or provide a visible clock, particularly for home visits. This ensures the performer can manage their schedule effectively.
12.3. Additional Charges for Extended Visits: If the visit extends beyond the 30-minute package and the client has not notified the performer of the time elapsed, a member of our admin team will contact the client after the visit to discuss additional charges. These charges will cover the extra time the performer spent at the event. Our performers often have subsequent visits scheduled, so it is crucial to manage time well to avoid delays in their day.
12.4. Voluntary Extended Time: The only exception to this policy is if the performer chooses to stay longer at the visit, which they will communicate to the client once the original visit time is over.
13. Changing Facilities
13.1. Facility Requirements: For 2-hour party packages, Powered Up Parties requests that a designated room be provided for our performer(s) to change costumes. Please note that this room should not be a toilet or restroom, including disabled toilets.
13.2. Arrival and Setup: Our performers will arrive out of costume to set up and pack down before and after the event. This is to ensure that costumes remain in pristine condition and to facilitate a smooth setup and teardown process.
13.3. Room Availability: The changing room should be secure, private, and free from distractions to allow our performers to prepare and transition into costume efficiently.
14. Contact
14.1. Arrival and Contact: When booking any appearance package, please be aware that our performers will arrive approximately 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. They will call the contact number provided to confirm their arrival.
14.2. Handling Delays: If the performer is running late, they will notify you well in advance. To ensure smooth communication, please keep your phone on you and readily accessible when our performer is due to arrive.
14.3. Start Time: The 30-minute time slot will commence at the scheduled start time. Our performers will not enter the event until they have spoken to you via phone call or message. This ensures that both parties are aligned before the performance begins.
14.4. Discretion for Extensions: Any decision regarding extending the visit due to delays in initial contact will be at the discretion of the performer. While we aim to be flexible, please understand that extended time may not always be feasible depending on the performer’s schedule and other commitments.

1.1. Booking Fee Receipt: Once we have received the booking fee from the client, Powered Up Parties will send a confirmation email. This email will include the client's details and the remaining balance due for the event.
