All our experiences are designed to be magical however our main priority is safety and commitment to both our clients and our staff. To ensure your Christmas visit goes as smooth as it can be, please read carefully our terms and conditions.

This is a binding agreement between Powered Up Parties and the client. By the client paying the booking fee it means that you have read and agreed to all of the terms.

Payment

- Contract: This contract must be agreed within a 1 hour window of being received. If the booking fee of £20 is not received within the 1 hour, the date requested will be released to the next interested client.

- Payment: The £20 booking fee can be paid via Paypal or bank transfer. The remaining balance payment must be made on the Monday prior to your scheduled visit. If this payment is not made on the scheduled date, your visit will automatically be cancelled and opened back up to the next interested client. A reminder email will be sent on the Sunday with a follow up email sent on the Monday, if payments are not received by 10pm Monday night the slot will be cancelled. The client will then be notified of the cancellation.

- Booking Fee & Final Balance: A non-refundable booking fee (which acts as a deposit) covers administrations costs when reserving a specific time and date. The booking fee must be paid within 1 hour of the booking information being sent. If the booking fee is not received within a 1 hour window, the time slot will be given to the next interested booking, unless otherwise discussed with Powered Up Parties.

- Changes: - Powered Up Parties will also be introducing an additional £10 admin fee if there is any changes 7 days prior to the scheduled visits (e.g. change of address, change in number of children etc). This will be to cover the cost of making new or changing Christmas kits, working out new routes, admin time etc. Powered Up Parties will also not accept any changes to bookings 48 hours prior to the booking unless discussed and agreed upon with a member of the team. We hope you understand. Please note, but all changes can be accommodated and it is up to Powered Up Parties desecration whether the changes can be accepted.

On the of day of the visit:

- Character Integrity - The performers stays in full character throughout the appearance/party so we ask that all parents are responsible for their children's behaviour and safety. No child should be left without a parent/guarding present during the visit, if this happens Powered Up Parties will ask an adult to be present at all times.

- Safety of our performers - Powered Up Parties will not tolerate any inappropriate behaviour. If at any time there is a situation where the performer(s) feels unsafe, harassed, in a hostile or hazardous environment or inappropriate comments are made, they will address the issue with the parent/guardian or host. If the issue is not resolved, the performer(s) has the right to refuse to perform services and will leave with immediate effect. The visit fees paid will be non-refundable and will act as compensation to the company. Please see below for inappropriate behaviour section;

- Inappropriate behaviour - Powered Up Parties performer’s will not tolerate any abusive/violent behaviour from children of any age. If a performer feels that a child is becoming violent during the visit, the performer will address with parent/guardian and if this continues or is not resolved they have the right to leave the venue/home with immediate effect and the visit fee will be non-refundable.

- Parking - Powered Up Parties performers will arrive by car and will try to park a safe distance away from the address provided, this ensures that you and your guests do not see us exiting and entering the vehicle. This will help keep the magic alive!

- Damage - Powered Up Parties understand that accidents happen, however, the client will be held responsible for excessive damage sustained to costumes and property of Powered Up Parties during the visit. The cost to replace/repair damaged/broken costumes or materials will be billed to the client.

- Contact - When booking any appearance package please be aware that Powered Up Parties performers will always try to arrive 5 minutes prior to any booking and will call the contact number provided. If the performer(s) is running late they will call and let you know well in advance. The visit will finish at the scheduled time, even if the visit started late due to no answer on the contact numbers provided.

- Cancellation or rescheduling - In the case of severe weather, unforeseen circumstance or illness, Powered Up Parties reserves the right to reschedule your booking. If a client chooses to cancel the appearance due to weather, unforeseen circumstances or illness, the client may reschedule the event to the next available date (depending on availability). Booking fee’s are non-refundable, but you will receive a refund of the additional payment if Powered Up Parties are unable to reschedule.

- Heating - Please be mindful that characters (especially the Grinch) we politely request that your home central heating device is switched off. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our performer (e.g. passing out from overheating). If your home is too hot then the performer will take the visit outdoors or doorstep to make it comfortable for everyone.

Payment Details

Booking fee for all the Magical Christmas Experience’s is £20 to secure your time and date slot. Full payment is then required on the Monday before the scheduled visit. Once Powered Up Parties have received both the booking fee and information sheet from the client Powered Up Parties will then send a separate confirmation email with the clients details and remaining balances totals and the “what happens next” section.

Paypal: - Please let Powered Up Parties know if you would like to pay by PayPal and an invoice will be sent to you. Please do not send anything over PayPal unless agreed with a member of the team first.
